In the midsummer season, in the Jingwei Lake National Wetland Park in Changzi County, Changzhi City, Shanxi Province, ring-necked pheasants, herons, bitter and evil birds and other birds inhabit here. They call or play in the water to outline a beautiful summer scene.

In recent years, the Jingwei Lake National Wetland Park Management Center has actively carried out wetland protection work. The water source of the wetland park has been conserved and the ecological environment has been significantly improved. It attracts different types of birds to inhabit here throughout the year, making it a beautiful scenery on the lake.

Shanxi Changzi Jingwei Lake National Wetland Park has a wetland area of ​​298.31 hectares, with a wetland rate of 83.1%. The planned area includes reservoirs, rivers, beaches, grass swamps and other types of wetlands.

On December 25, 2019, the park passed the pilot acceptance of the National Forestry and Grassland Administration and officially became a national wetland park.
