At 11:25, the first commercial flight of Tianfu Airport, Sichuan Airlines Flight 3U8001, with 262 passengers, took off and flew to Beijing Capital International Airport.

Subsequently, Air China Flight CA4195 and China Eastern Airlines MU5416 took off to Beijing and Shanghai respectively.

At 14:13, Air China Flight CA1947 flew from Shanghai Pudong International Airport to Tianfu Airport, becoming the first commercial flight to land after Tianfu Airport was officially put into operation.
