In fact, when US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, during a recent and instantly "public" telephone conversation with the head of the Polish Foreign Ministry Zbigniew Rau, confirmed the former, sharply negative attitude of the United States towards the European-Russian project Nord Stream 2, he must be given credit , did not lie at all. And he did it according to the old principle, once expressed by one remarkable Russian writer: "It is easy and pleasant to speak the truth" (c), despite any "lifting of sanctions" by his, one might say, his immediate superiors against the operator of the Nord Stream 2 AG gas pipeline in general and personally the head of the company Matthias Warnig in particular.

Recall, by the way, that Angela Merkel then considered the US refusal of sanctions against Nord Stream 2 AG a step towards the Federal Republic of Germany, in which she was completely and unconditionally right.

We also remind - and this is important for any, even the most approximate analysis of the current situation - that as recently as June 10 of this year, the operator company officially announced the technical completion of the construction of the first string of the gas pipeline.

And the second, in general, is on the way.

Then certification and commissioning work (judging by some direct Olympic calmness of the Russian industry bosses, these tasks have already been solved to a certain extent, or have been redirected to European partners, although it must be given their due, this is where the American sanctions caused a lot of problems) - and “ in hardware "the project is finished.

Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak claims that the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline will be fully ready for commercial implementation by the end of this year.

And we have absolutely no reason to not trust the head of the Russian oil and gas industry who is conservative in his forecasts, to put it mildly.

And then, perhaps, the most interesting thing "in the next round" will begin.

Let's try to explain why - it's not for us to listen to Blinken, who is just asleep and sees how to help Poland and / or Ukraine.

In addition, this secret, in general, is not very great: some prominent American Republicans spoke about it directly, the majority of tactful American Democrats preferred to hypocritically keep silent on this topic.

But the very continuity of American policy under any parties and under any "leaders" has not yet been canceled.

As a matter of fact, the time has come for Europe to pay its rather long-standing bills.

And there remains only one question - how to implement this program.

Because here and until now there are some purely tactical, but significant differences, and they have not been overcome so far.

Now let's try to explain.

Probably, it makes no sense to once again describe the completely systemic crisis that is now gripping the United States: despite the cheerful reports about the economic recovery, I would not take it seriously, for example.

Today's America, in order to survive and survive in its current, not modernized form, needs more than just the restoration of pre-crisis parameters.

America needs a real, unthinkable "leap" - in order to understand this, one does not even need "Chinese illustrations", although from the point of view of the rigorous science of economics, they - we will agree - look quite impressive.

Suffice it to look at the internal conflicts flaring up over the dwindling, one must pay tribute to, the national economic pie within the American elites themselves.

And this is a completely systemic issue that needs to be addressed in a completely systematic way.

Now let's see what happens next.

Whatever further route America chooses for this hypothetical "leap", be it the reindustrialization of the name of Donald Trump or "let everything be like under Obama" and the furious tilt towards post-industrial platforms, which is now being implemented by the current administration, for both the main thing is equally necessary.

Namely, for a "jerk" - in any direction - a "resource" is equally needed.

And the internal resources of the American economy itself are tragically lacking, the "covid crisis" by no means gave rise to this situation, but merely emphasized it.

And this means, someone needs to be robbed, excuse me, "on the outer contour" (at one time, albeit for a smaller reason, it turned out brilliantly with Japan, for example).

The only question is who.

First, I will immediately upset both our liberals and our ultrapatriots - certainly not us.

The reason is simple and it looks, by the way, sometimes even a little offensive: what is there to plunder, with our minimal percentage of world GDP?

In general, if we had not “changed the trend,” we should have been dealt with at the regional level by officials like Victoria Nuland and local Gauleiters with capos recruited “by the pine tree”.

And if it did not work out, which even Biden indirectly admitted at the recent summit, then, in general, it is not their fault, and this is in the first place.

And not the merit of our economy, let's be honest, secondly.

It's just that now it has become more and more dangerous to "rob" us, like cutting a wild boar: there is a lot of screeching, but little sense.

In a word, the goal here is definitely not Russia.

And China has also quite creatively approached its potential robbery.

I mean, he was not very ready to be robbed, and in the United States, even before Trump, they somehow began to understand very clearly.

So, in fact, only Europe remains.

And the fact that they are "allies" - so when did it stop who, excuse me,?

The world is cruel.

The previous American President Donald Trump, I remember, spoke directly to European economic generals in Davos: America needs your money, you better carry it yourself, it doesn't hurt at all.

And Europe's "weak spot" is quite obvious here: energy shortage, the easiest place to start is with it.

And in fact, Nord Stream 2 has become a symbol of this struggle, and this struggle will not stop, regardless of whether it is completed at the present time or not yet - this is a thing so obvious that even the Poles, who forced their overlords donate, we must understand this.

It's just that if before that they fought against the "pipe", then the next goal will be even more obvious: if something cannot be destroyed, it needs to be headed, normal business logic, in which our overseas partners are somehow stupid to refuse.

Plus, of course, they always act according to well-established patterns: the “pipe” itself, this is obvious from the Ukrainian GTS, which they could buy a hundred times, and even pick it up for free, they absolutely do not need.

They, figuratively speaking, only need a "valve" from this very pipe.

It is around this "valve" that the next stage, apparently, will go. Fortunately, the political mechanisms for gaining control over it quite exist for themselves: the same German Greens, who have long been not ashamed of the fact that they are an instrument of Atlanticist politics, are even talking about this frankly in the native parliament.

But after all, the Europeans - it is no coincidence that Angela Merkel spoke so cautiously, though very sympathetically, about the lifting of American sanctions - they also understand this very well.

Yes, the Germans obviously won the first stage of the confrontation.

But even if we forget about the upcoming elections to the Bundestag and the departure of the most "heavyweight" Frau Bundeskanzlarin, they perfectly understand that nothing is over yet.

Because our common overseas partners never change their strategic tasks along the outer contour, only the ways of their implementation change, and you really need to be a completely Polish politician so that you don't understand such obvious things because of your narrowness.

European energy giants are led by people who are more strategically minded; to think differently is just disrespect.

In short, it will definitely not be boring and further.

The “big game” continues, but what had to be sacrificed for the interests of the limitrophes - this also happens, besides, they tried to do it as politely as possible: the Poles, there, Blinken himself called - to calm them down.

And he didn't even have to lie: America will indeed continue to fight over Nord Stream 2.

But already a little without you.
