Iran toughens its tone on the nuclear issue.

The speaker of the Iranian parliament affirmed, Sunday, June 27, that the images of its nuclear sites, taken from inside, will no longer be submitted to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), after the expiration of the temporary arrangement between the organization and Tehran on nuclear inspections.

"The agreement has expired (...) None of the recorded information will ever be given to the International Atomic Energy Agency and the data and images will remain in Iran's hands," Mohamed Baqer Qalibaf said. , the speaker of the Iranian parliament.

Tehran had restricted the access of inspectors in February and has refused since that date to provide real-time recordings of cameras and other tools.

The IAEA at the time negotiated a three-month compromise with Tehran to ensure that Iran would keep these records and hand them over when the United States lifted its sanctions.

This agreement was extended in May until June 24.
