When an organization as important as the
CEOE is represented,
no errors of the magnitude of the one carried out by its president can be made, which gave rise to the Government to commit the bosses in a tortuous way in its strategy of whitewashing the pro-independence coup.

because this sector feels very committed to the Constitution and legality, and does not want to be used by Moncloa as an alibi for a decision that the majority of Spaniards rejects and that the Supreme Court calls "unacceptable."
Without going any further, the leader of Cepyme -the Spanish Confederation of Small and Medium Enterprises- and

of the CEOE,
Gerardo Cuerva
, makes it clear in our pages that it rejects “any decision contrary to the legal norm, be it pardoned or otherwise;
because
the exception of today will be the catastrophe of tomorrow
».
Along the same lines, the president of the Círculo de Empresarios assures this newspaper that "granting pardons now offends the dignity of many Spaniards."
And he emphasizes that it is rejectionable "to pardon those who do not repent and have the intention of repeating it."
Indeed,
the independence movement does nothing but take advantage of the extraordinary weakness of the Sánchez Government to surrender it and be able to advance in its objectives
.
With a roadmap that begins with pardons and will continue with other demands such as the reform of the crime of sedition -which in a short time would allow the fugitive
Puigdemont
return and have their very serious crimes go unpunished - amnesty - the pro-independence parties deliver today in Congress the signatures collected to force the law to be processed - and self-determination.
Of course they will do it again, as those today imprisoned for the coup against our rule of law repeat without shame;

And, despite the shameful performance of that part of the Catalan business community that continues to embrace the thesis closest to nationalism, no one would understand that the bulk of the country's businessmen, much less those who represent an organization as important as the CEOE, supported pardons that do not meet the basic premises for granting them and that will allow secessionism to reign supreme, when precisely
the procés has caused such enormous economic damage to the whole country and damaged so many companies: 7,000 have had to flee Catalonia since 2017
.
Tomorrow the Council of Ministers will approve pardons, an outrage to citizens and an outrage against the rule of law.

The Government will be responsible for this indignity;
