Born in 1978 in Lubumbashi (Democratic Republic of the Congo), the visual artist Sammy Baloji is one of the most important contemporary artists in the world.
In his works, he explores and connects identities and collective amnesias, from the colonial past to today.
In a word, a gesture and a silence, he speaks to us about time, the imagination and the role of creation.
