Today there is a premiere at this point: For the first time, I don't want to present a website here today, but an entertaining hack.

However, it only works with the "Chrome" Internet browser - and you will need to work hard.

First open the Chrome browser, activate the bookmarks list, it will then appear below the address bar.

Start the Microsoft Word program. Arrange the windows of both applications so that they are next to or on top of each other. Now type the following into the text program exactly without the quotation marks: “javascript: document.body.contentEditable = true; void 0; ". Select the typed phrase and drag it with the mouse to any position in the bookmarks list. If you have done everything correctly, a new bookmark has now been created there. Now go to any website, maybe a news website, and click on the bookmark you just created.

What is happening? You can change the texts on the website: headlines, texts, category names, whatever you like. The layout of the page is retained. In this way, you can add your own text to deceptively real messages - only you can see them, the real website remains intact, but people can be fooled with a screenshot. The tool is also useful if you work as a graphic designer and want to create a mockup without great effort. And anyone who knows this trick will no longer fall for fake news producers who use it.

Another special feature:

Today there is no riddle, but an appeal - please send your "darling", a website that is worth being presented here, to netzraetsel@faz.de.

If your proposal is published here soon, you will receive an eBook shopping voucher worth 25 euros.

The closing date for entries is June 23, 2021, 9 p.m.

In the week before last, the “cross-race effect” would have been the right solution;

the winner was notified in writing.
