We vote this Sunday, June 20 in Armenia, for the first round of early legislative elections, called at the end of March by outgoing Prime Minister Nikol Pachinian.
This 46-year-old former journalist came to power in 2018, thanks to a peaceful revolution.
But since then, the climate has changed: the country has notably experienced the violent conflict with Azerbaijan over the Nagorno-Karabakh enclave last fall.
To analyze the stakes of the ballot, Jean-Baptiste Marot is online with Gaïdz Minassian.
He is a teacher at Sciences Po, journalist for the daily
Le Monde
and
author of the book
