After the

semi-final first leg

played in Garoua on Sunday, JSK has the advantage.

She won away from Coton Sport.

The match had started badly for the visitors, who found themselves behind despite their domination.

On a free kick kicked by Sibiri Sanou, Lambert Araina placed a winning header (29th).

Fatal errors

But that advantage vanished just before the break. Narcisse Nlend, the porter of the vice-champion of Cameroon, made a fatal error. On a long cross from the right, the goalkeeper completely missed his exit, and Ahmed Kerroum took the opportunity to push the ball into the net and bring JS Kabylie up to level (45 + 2nd). Then, in the second half, the Algerians took the advantage on another unintentional blunder. Rida Bensayah crossed and the unfortunate central defender Pierre Etame tackled the ball in his own cage (62nd).

Coton Sport, defeated, will have to scramble to overthrow the JSK on June 27 in Tizi Ouzou, in the semi-final second leg.

In the other match, there was no winner or goal between Raja Casablanca and Pyramids (0-0) at the June 30 stadium in Cairo.

Unhappy finalist of the last edition, the Egyptian club will have to make a result in Casablanca in a week to play a new final.
