Yamagata Prefecture has been confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus, and announced that one person who had been hospitalized at a medical institution in the prefecture had died by the 20th.
No one was newly confirmed to be infected.
A total of 2020 people have been confirmed infected in Yamagata Prefecture, and a total of 47 people have died.
