“
Arts, culture and heritage: a lever to build the Africa we want
”.
This is the main theme under which the African Union is placing this year 2021. The AU intends to honor the culture that it considers as a marker of identity.
Different activities are planned, even if the roadmap is complicated by the health situation and the Covid-19 pandemic.
Among them, the launch next month of the Great Museum of Africa, which will be based in the Algerian capital.
Angela Martins is the head of the culture division of the African Union Commission.
While in Paris, she answers questions from Magali Lagrange.
