Jessica Biel didn't want to hide her second pregnancy

Jessica Biel had no intention of covering up her second pregnancy.

The actress and Justin Timberlake welcomed little Phineas in July 2020 with discretion and it was not until last January that the couple chose to announce the news.

But according to the star of

, it is above all the context of the pandemic which made that her pregnancy did not make the headlines.

“I had, like, a secret Covid baby.

It wasn't like it was meant to be a secret.

Very simply, the Covid happened, then I went to Montana with my family and I never left, ”she explained to Dax Shepard in her

And, if this secret delivery went off without a hitch, it could have been otherwise.

A big fear

One of the big fears Jessica Biel faced when giving birth to her second son was being alone. The restrictions due to Covid within the hospital could have prevented Justin Timberlake from being present. “There was a time when no one was allowed [in the delivery room], and it stressed me out. But yes, he could have been there. I think if I had to be alone it would have been horrible. I would have been really scared, ”she said.

Now Jessica Biel, Justin Timberlake and their eldest six-year-old Silas are learning to live together, and the actress admits they haven't quite found their rhythm yet.

“The balance is very different and super difficult to find.
