Charged with anger and disagreements... distorting the face of his ex-wife with "fire water" in Egypt

An Egyptian sprayed a caustic substance "fire water" on the face of his ex-wife working in the assembly area, out of revenge, due to differences between them.

Today, Saturday, the New Cairo Prosecution inquired about the employee’s health condition in preparation for her question about the incident, after her previous interrogation failed to perform a precise operation due to her serious injury, according to Al-Bawaba News.

The Public Prosecution also demanded the prompt preparation of a full medical report on the case and the injuries sustained.

During the investigations, the accused said: "He separated from the victim in 2017 after she filed a divorce case and a judgment was issued to divorce her from him, indicating that since that time there have been differences between them."

The accused added: "On the day of the incident, I waited for her in the street, and as soon as she started to get into her car, an incendiary substance was thrown at her. I wanted to take revenge on her in any way."

The details of the incident came back when the Fifth Settlement Police Department received a report stating that the so-called “Mohamed M.A.”, a factory owner, had assaulted his ex-wife, “A.A. A. A.”, who works as an employee, by throwing “fire water” on her face and body, due to differences between them, and it was found She sustained third-degree burns, and report No. 5812 for the year 2021 Fifth Settlement misdemeanour was issued, and the security services were able to arrest him.
