Guest on Friday of Anne Roumanoff's show "It feels good", actress Anny Duperey confides in the earthy exchange she had with director Agnès Varda ten years ago, when she was recovering of her divorce.

Angès Varda once again demonstrated his outspokenness.

INTERVIEW

"An authentic and wonderful dialogue".

It is with a joy borrowed from emotion that Anny Duperey remembers Friday at the microphone of Anne Roumanoff, in the program

It feels good

, of an exchange she had with the director Agnès Varda.

Anny Duperey was coming out of her second divorce.

And it is with her verb, in a tone as soft as the words were powerful, that Agnès Varda then tried to reassure her about her future.

"One morning when I was doing my shopping, I see her sitting like a buffalo toad", laughs the actress at the microphone of Europe 1.

"Either they die or they shoot themselves"

"Come on, it's been a long time since we saw each other!", Then calls out Agnès Varda. "I had just finished my second couple, happy, but it had ended. I was 62 or 63 years old and I had not yet digested the thing of finding myself alone" recalls Anny Duperey, who then confides her difficulty for her friend of the trade: "If there is one thing that I had not considered, it is to find myself alone at my age."

"This is amazing !" Agnès Varda retorts, to her surprise. "Yes, yes, my casserole! And I'll tell you why: all women end up alone. Either they die or they shoot each other. When it happens very late, it's very hard. You, you have time to take your marks! ”, continues the director, patting her knee. At the time, Anny Duperey took this remark in the face. "Today, I think she is right: I have taken my marks!" she bursts out laughing.
