Regarding whether the entry and exit arrangements with neighbouring areas will be relaxed, Liang Yihao, coordinator of the Infectious Disease Prevention and Disease Surveillance Department of the Health Bureau, said that the epidemic in Hong Kong has eased recently and there have been no confirmed cases in Hong Kong for 10 consecutive days, but Hong Kong and Macau should be relaxed. The prerequisite for the entry and exit measures of the region is that there are no local confirmed cases for 14 consecutive days before the next detailed consultation can be carried out; for comments requiring the relaxation of the time limit for a negative nucleic acid test report within 48 hours to travel to and from Guangdong and Macao, the authorities will Maintain close consultation with Guangdong.

Liang Yihao emphasized that even if there are conditions to relax immigration measures in the future, it must be carried out in a gradual manner, including implementation requirements and restrictions on the number of people, etc., which need to be discussed again. There is no specific plan for the time being.
