“A farewell ceremony for Vladimir Shatalov took place at the federal memorial military cemetery,” the Roscosmos website reported.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed his condolences to the family and friends of cosmonaut Vladimir Shatalov.
Shatalov died on June 15 at the age of 94.
