Singer Kim Jong-guk, who won the SBS Entertainment Awards last year following the three major music awards, is challenging YouTube this time.
On the 17th, his agency Turbo JK Company announced, "Kim Jong Kook will open his personal YouTube channel 'GYM JONG KOOK' at 6 pm today."
Regarding the reason for choosing the channel name as 'GYM Jongguk', Kim Jong Kook said, "We plan to use GYM, the English notation of the gym, to convey the friendliness of exercise. Although there are not many, we are aiming for a channel that brings fun and empathy with various contents for those who feel their own curiosity and pleasure in the lives of unique athletes.”
He continued, "On this channel, I am not a singer or entertainer Kim Jong-guk, but a representative of a non-professional sportsman who has consistently loved sports for a long time. “I hope to become a channel of sharing and communication until the day when more people will love the sport even a little bit more through various perspectives and attempts on exercise.”
Following SBS 'Running Man' and 'My Little Old Boy', Kim Jong-kook's personal YouTube channel 'GYM JONG KOOK' will be officially released at 6 pm on the 17th, ahead of the first broadcast of JTBC's new entertainment program 'Celebration Club'.
