In Kagawa Prefecture, it was confirmed that a total of four people in their 30s and 80s in Takamatsu City were newly infected with the new coronavirus.
The prefecture also announced that one man over the age of 90, who had previously been confirmed to be infected, had died.
In Kagawa Prefecture, 2077 people were confirmed infected and 29 died.
