American actress Lisa Baynes dies in a runaway accident

American actress Lisa Baynes, best known for her role in the movie "Gon Girl," has died 10 days after she was hit by a motorcycle or scooter in Manhattan, a New York police spokesman said Tuesday.

The spokesman told AFP that the death of Lisa Baynes, 65, was announced in hospital on Monday, as a result of her injuries as a result of the accident she suffered on June 4 near the Lincoln Cultural Center.

Bynes was hit in the head after the bike passed a traffic light while the actress was crossing the street, and the New York police were unable to determine what type of bike hit her.

The police spokesman indicated that the investigation is underway, but no one has been arrested so far.

"We are saddened by the tragic and senseless death of Lisa. She was a smart, kind and generous woman who was dedicated to her work, whether on stage, in front of the cameras, or especially in her relationship with her wife, family and friends," NBC quoted David Williams' manager.

Lisa Baynes has acted in many films, plays and comedy series, including "Rozan".

Her roles in "Gun Girl" (2014) and in the romantic comedy "Cocktail" (1988) with Tom Cruise were the highlight of her film career.
