Full-scale vaccination will begin next month in the wards, cities, towns and villages of Tokyo for the general vaccination of the new coronavirus.

While vaccination of the elderly is progressing in Tokyo, vaccination for the general public aged 12 to 64 has already begun in the islands, and some wards, cities, towns and villages are shipping vaccination tickets.



The distribution of vaccines for general vaccination will begin in earnest in Tokyo from next month.



According to the city, 1357 boxes will be distributed in the week of the 5th and the 12th of next month.



By ward, city, town, and village, ▽ Setagaya ward has the largest number of 115 boxes, followed by ▽ Hachioji city with 104 boxes, ▽ Suginami ward and Itabashi ward with 59 boxes each, ▽ Katsushika ward with 51 boxes, ▽ Nerima ward and Koganei city with 47 boxes each. And so on.



In Hachioji City and Koganei City, inoculation is progressing relatively quickly, and all desired amounts will be distributed.



It is calculated that 1,587,690 doses can be inoculated in 1357 boxes distributed, which is about 2.47 million doses when combined with some vaccines already distributed to the general public.



This is the amount that about 13% of the 9.51 million people that the municipalities envision to be vaccinated can be vaccinated twice.
