【Explanation】Reshape the appearance of ancient porcelain and reproduce the style of ancient porcelain.

Wang Chunfa, a 63-year-old restoration engineer in Jinan, Shandong Province, has adhered to the technique of seamless restoration of ancient ceramics for more than 20 years, allowing countless broken ancient ceramics to "rebirth".

In order to inherit and carry forward the traditional ancient ceramic seamless restoration techniques, since 2015, Wang Chunfa has recruited more than 200 students from all over the country, and has successively opened nearly 20 training courses on ancient ceramic seamless restoration techniques.

[Explanation] On June 14th, the reporter met Wang Chunfa who was teaching skills to students in Xiushantang in Hongshangfang, Jinan.

Wang Chunfa explained the repair works of the porcelain cups of the trainees, pointed out the problems in the works of the trainees, and patiently demonstrated the repairs for the trainees.

While carefully identifying the background color of the porcelain cup with the help of sunlight, Wang Chunfa repeatedly blended it with reagents and oil paints until the hue of the pigment was the same as the background color of the porcelain cup.

Subsequently, Wang Chunfa used an airbrush to carefully recolor the porcelain cup and quickly completed the restoration of the porcelain cup.

Wang Chunfa told reporters that although the threshold for seamless restoration of ancient ceramics is high, he still hopes that more people can like and engage in this business.

There are two thresholds for the seamless restoration of ancient ceramics to keep many people out of the door. The first threshold is that it is very cumbersome to polish and level.

The second threshold is the color matching link, and the similarity must reach more than 98%.

The traceless restoration of ancient ceramics is very small. Now I am thinking of using a wide variety of thin harvesting mentality for this training. The purpose is to make the traceless restoration of ancient ceramics bloom and bear fruit all over the country as soon as possible, and the fragmented ancient ceramics can be broken locally. , Or cultural and play utensils can make it glow as it should be.

[Explanation] As the saying goes, "The master leads the door, and the practice depends on the individual." A student from Tongling, Anhui Province, Wang Xiwen, after class ends at 12 noon every day, will use the rest time to practice ancient ceramics traceless restoration techniques.

On the same day, he restored the pattern of a porcelain jar based on what he had learned in class, striving to achieve the standard of "repair as old as the old".

From August 8, 2018, I came to Jinan to apprentice.

A broken porcelain in our hands can be restored to more than 90% or more than 95%. From a broken (porcelain) to a complete one, the sense of accomplishment is very great, and it will be unacceptable after that.

Maybe our direction is to apply for intangible cultural heritage (project) locally in (Anhui), and we have the responsibility to pass it on.

[Explanation] The reporter found that there are some restored porcelain bowls and vases on the Bogu shelf in Xiushantang. These porcelains are Wang Chunfa's proud work.

Compared with the photos of the porcelain before restoration placed next to it, the appearance of the restored objects has been completely new.

Wang Chunfa said that the technique of seamless restoration of ancient ceramics is an excellent traditional technique in China, and it is his responsibility to pass on this technique.

When I wanted to learn Wuhen Restoration, the master was unwilling to teach, unwilling to pass on the surname, because it was originally a family craft.

Such an excellent inheritance skill, if the flyer door, the danger of losing it is very high.

Passing down from generation to generation, this traditional technique has been passed on to our generation. I think the responsibility is very heavy and we must pass it down as soon as possible.

Do more public welfare and direct offline training, so that more people can get started.

[Explanation] In the future, Wang Chunfa hopes to form a team with students and plans to cooperate with many universities to make the cultural relics restoration industry grow as quickly as possible.
