A total of 49,881 people have been confirmed to be infected in Aichi Prefecture.
Aichi Prefecture also announced that two elderly people who had been hospitalized in a medical institution after being infected with the new coronavirus died on the 12th.
The number of infected people who died in Aichi Prefecture was 890.
