Despite beautiful beaches, a very diverse flora and fauna, tourists have deserted Gabon because of the Covid-19.

Several hotels and restaurants are idling, job losses are significant.

Despite this gloomy situation, some expatriates residing in the country and Gabonese who can no longer go elsewhere are revisiting their country.
