On the evening of June 11, the 24th Shanghai International Film Festival officially opened. The appearance of the crew of "Stone as a Rock" on the red carpet attracted particular attention.
Director Zhang Yimou, with leading actors Lei Jiayin, Zhou Dongyu, Sun Yizhou, Xu Yajun, etc. attended the event.
It is reported that "Sturdy as a Rock" is Zhou Dongyu's film work with Zhang Yimou after 11 years of "The Love of Hawthorn Tree".
When asked about the different feelings of cooperating with Zhang Yimou for the second time, Zhou Dongyu said: Just like the titles of the two films, when filming "The Hawthorn Tree Love", she felt that Director Zhang was a "towering tree". Piercing the Clouds is particularly sacred; when she collaborated with "Rock as Solid" again, she felt that Director Zhang was like a "rock", very firm and unshakable, and the sense of sacredness became stronger.
