A jacket worn by rock star Mick Jagger, a dress by actress Nicole Kidman and another worn by Madonna are auctioning off clothes by late fashion designer Larren Scott.

Christie's auctions 55 pieces designed by Scott, who committed suicide in 2014, when she was 49 years old.

Scott was in love with Jagger before her death, and was known for designing elegant dresses full of details.

"She was very elegant and dazzling and had this sense that everything had to be the way it was in the good old days of Hollywood, everything was luxurious and romantic," said Caitlin Yates, director of sales at Christie's in London.

"All the materials I used were of the highest quality," Yates told Reuters.

Everything is handcrafted, and she was very careful with the details.”

She stated that the auction will be held online and will continue until the first of next July, noting that this is the first time that a group of the late designer's works has been offered for sale.

"It was Mick Jagger who decided to put it up for sale in honor of Arryn Scott."

The collection on sale includes the black and gold dress worn by Nicole Kidman at the 2013 Oscars, expected to fetch between £1,500 and £2,500, and Madonna's pink sequined black dress from the 1940s.
