Before 6 am on the 9th, a man's body wrapped in a futon and tied up with a string was found near the Ina Cemetery in Toride City, Ibaraki Prefecture.



Subsequent investigation confirmed that the person who died was Kazuhiko Kitada (59), who lives in Abiko City, Chiba Prefecture.



In addition, as a result of a judicial autopsy and a detailed examination of the body, it was found that the cause of death was suffocation due to strangulation, and on the afternoon of the 11th, an investigation headquarters was set up on suspicion of murder and abandonment of the body.



Mr. Kitada is believed to have died between the 7th of this month and the 9th when the body was found, and police are investigating the detailed situation by analyzing the images of the surrounding security cameras.
