In the ninth arrondissement of Marseille, a gigantic office building will soon be wiped off the map to make way for brand new housing.

A colossal project which will only take place, for administrative reasons, in June 2022.

In the meantime, the building was to remain vacant… until the Yes We Camp association and several Marseille artist collectives mobilized to temporarily invest the premises.

Since January, the Buropolis project has given this wasteland a second youth.

No less than 230 artists took up their quarters in large-scale artist studios in these long corridors, as well as a nursing training institute of the French Red Cross.
