The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), the supreme body in sports disputes, reduced from 12 to 9 months the suspension imposed on goalkeeper André Onana by the European Football Confederation (UEFA) in February 2021 for a breach of the rules anti-doping.
"
The formation of the CAS [...] found that no" significant fault "could be attributed to André Onana who would have mistakenly ingested drugs intended for another person
", indicates a press release.
The 25-year-old Ajax Amsterdam goalkeeper will be able to return to the pitches from November 3, 2021.
