• For two years, the Perpignan brand Ringart's has been fighting to break the obsolete image of this hat.

For this summer, she will be able to rely on the Blues.

The company designed the official French team bob.

  • The profits from sales, in the FFF shop, will fund annual membership fees in clubs for children from families in difficulty.

This year, to support the Blues at the Euro at the stadium (or in front of the TV), you put on your jersey, your scarf… and your bob! Ringart's, which has been fighting for two years to restore the image of this somewhat outdated hat, was chosen by the French Football Federation (FFF) to design a special edition of the French team.

The Perpignan (Pyrénées-Orientales) company is thus one of 12 French artisans and manufacturers whose products have joined the official Bleus store, and all of whose profits will fund annual membership fees in clubs, for children from families in difficulty.

"We are extremely proud to have been asked," confides Léonard Rodriguez, the creator of Ringart's.

To see a supporter with the bob in a stadium, for the Euro, it will be a huge honor.

It's a really cool spotlight for a brand like us.

"

"Showcase French know-how"

This bob, available in three sizes (M, L and XL) is… blue (of course). A "royal blue", specifies the entrepreneur. "The idea was for it to be truly a product for the supporters", that one feels "the national fervor". A tricolor ribbon, "a little aged, vintage", as well as the two stars of the Blues, were embroidered on the bob. This hat is made, like the entire Ringart's collection, in a workshop in Caussade, in the Tarn-et-Garonne. “That was the goal when we launched the brand: to promote French know-how,” notes the entrepreneur from Perpignan. Each product is designed by hand, they are high quality headgear. "

This collaboration came at the right time, for the young Catalan company: Léonard Rodriguez, before the Covid-19 crisis, intended to go and glean partnerships with the sports community, and festivals.

"We are more and more called upon for this type of event," he notes.

But it was not won, in 2019, when Léonard Rodriguez bet on the return of the bob, by launching Ringart's.

“At the beginning, we were really taken for crazy,” smiles the entrepreneur.

We all knew the looser hat, grandpa's advertising object, distributed on the side of the roads.

When I was doing research on the Internet, I came across "cheesy."

Hence the name of the brand.

And we managed to go beyond that, by making the bob a real high-end accessory.

Our dossier on Euro 2021

The first summer, in 2019, the company sold 800 bobs.

The following summer, between 1,200 and 1,500.

And with the approach of the beautiful days, this year, the bobs of Ringart's tear up even a little faster, effect Blues oblige.

“Since then, the big brands have started doing it, and fashion influencers are wearing bobs,” notes Léonard Rodriguez.

Among the stars too, we fell for the bob (even not the Cochonou, eh): Rihanna, Nabilla, Eddy de Pretto or Wejdene appeared with this hat screwed on the head.

It has become, today, assures the boss of Ringart's, a “super trendy” product.

Be careful, the bob is back in fashion!

(Was it really necessary?)
