Everything sounds like a movie already seen.
A tragicomedy programmed in a loop.
The usual is sold to us as a novelty: secessionism
neither regrets nor accepts the Constitution
, and Sánchez continues to behave as someone who owes all his power to separatism.
In a revealing synchronization maneuver, Junqueras has leaked to pro-independence media and those related to Sánchez his willingness to accept the pardons in exchange for renouncing the unilateral route.
As if complying with the law is negotiable.
Cause embarrassment
that Sánchez and his media speakers now run to reheat the exhausted thesis of appeasement -which has failed several times and with different governments- selling the expressions of Junqueras as a triumph, who otherwise does not renounce anything essential for ERC: amnesty and referendum.
Because it is the same Junqueras who was in dialogue with the PP;
the same one who for fear of being branded a traitor forced Puigdemont to proclaim independence when Catalonia seemed doomed to elections;
the same one that affirmed that the Spanish State could put pardons wherever they fit;
the same, in short, that
For his pure interest, he now gives oxygen to a Sánchez in very low hours that needs to sell some success to the electorate
even for a while.
Neither the seditious Junqueras nor his disloyal party are nor have they ever been moderate, nor do they have the vocation to be moderate, nor above all could they convert to constitutional respect even if they wanted to, because every minute of
the legislature of Pere Aragonès is in the hands of Puigdemont
.
Who from Waterloo calculates the moment when the failure of ERC and new elections will return hegemony in the Generalitat.
That is why Sánchez's surrender is something worse than a moral embarrassment: it is a political error and a legal aberration.
Most of our respondents clearly express their belief that the main reason why Sánchez pardons is his dependence on the Frankenstein coalition;
that is, their personal survival.
But
the price of this concession is the lethal impairment of the credit of our Justice abroad
, since the Government of Spain has assumed as its own the thesis of separatism according to which the application of the law hides a spirit of revenge inappropriate for full democracies.
Destroying in this way, from Moncloa itself, the work of our diplomats abroad in defense of the Spanish rule of law is something that will be difficult to forgive and more difficult to reverse.
But what we are not going to do at this point is to believe that Sánchez acts out of a sincere spirit of harmony, because Sánchez, based on his career, has shown that he can be anything but a statesman.
What is being prepared is an amnesty that does not dare to say his name,
deployed in two stages: the collective pardon to all the seditious of the 1-O and the cheapening of the crime of sedition to round off the disarmament of the State and the legitimation of a

awaiting reactivation.
If Room III does not destroy that fraud of law that is the collective pardon and Sánchez's plan is consummated, Junqueras will be able to ask himself again, already in the street, how it is possible that they have returned to itch.
