Hyogo Prefecture announced on the 9th that it was newly confirmed that 64 people in the prefecture were infected with the new coronavirus.
The total number of infected people in the prefecture was 40,357.
The prefecture also announced that four people had been confirmed dead when they were infected with the new coronavirus.
The number of people infected and died in Hyogo prefecture was 1241.
