Few major sporting events escape rumors of postponement, relocation and / or cancellation, like the Tokyo Olympics.

Especially in these times of the Covid pandemic.

In the case of CAN 2021, the recent indefinite postponement of the draw initially scheduled for June 25 in Yaoundé, at the request of the African Football Confederation (CAF), surprised Cameroon, where the inspection visits of tournament venues follow one another at a steady pace.

The head of administration (Secretary General) of CAF, Veron Mosengo-Omba, should also go there in mid-June to discuss in particular the future ceremony of the draw.
