On the 2nd of this month, a US military helicopter that crash landed on Tsuken Island in Uruma City, Okinawa Prefecture, completed repairs and returned to Futenma Air Station on the 7th.

On the 2nd of this month, one UH1 helicopter belonging to the U.S. military Futenma base crash landed in a field on Tsuken Island in Uruma City, saying that there was a possibility of equipment trouble.

As a result of the US military carrying supplies and maintenance personnel to the site by another helicopter and repairing the aircraft, the helicopter took off from the field that crash landed on the morning of the 7th.

The US military helicopter that took off from Tsuken Island flew for about 15 minutes while turning over the sea, and landed at Futenma base after noon.

The U.S. military said it would take off the helicopter on the 5th, but then explained that it took another two days, "the weather on the weekend is a big factor."

The place where the helicopter crash landed is 120 meters from the private house, and the prefecture will soon protest against the US military, the Okinawa Defense Bureau, and the Okinawa office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
