On June 7, local time, two trains collided in the Sindh province of southern Pakistan, causing heavy casualties. The death toll has risen to 36.

Railway officials said that shortly after the derailment of the Millat Express, a Sir Syed Express collided with it.

Witnesses said that when the accident happened, most of the passengers were sleeping.
