Aga Town, Niigata Prefecture, announced that it is possible that the undiluted solution of the vaccine, which should have been diluted, was accidentally inoculated at the mass inoculation site for the new coronavirus vaccine.

According to Aga Town, on the afternoon of the 7th, on-site nurses and others noticed that there was an extra container of saline solution to dilute the vaccine stock solution at the mass inoculation site.

Vaccines are required to be inoculated after diluting the undiluted solution with saline, and one of the 77 syringes of the vaccine was accidentally filled with the undiluted solution.

The vaccination was immediately suspended at the venue, but 14 people have already been vaccinated, and the town says that one person may have been vaccinated with the undiluted solution.

When the town confirmed with Pfizer, which manufactured the vaccine, there was a reply that "There were no reports of adverse reactions due to overdose, and no special measures were required." It means that no one complains of abnormalities.

On the other hand, Mitsuke City, Niigata Prefecture, revealed in a mass vaccination on the 5th that a nurse mistakenly inoculated a woman in her 60s with an unvaccinated empty syringe.

According to the city, there is no problem with the physical condition of women, so we will thoroughly check it in the future.
