On June 7, candidates walked into the examination room wearing masks at the test center of the 29th Middle School in Nanning, Guangxi.
On the same day, China's 2021 college entrance examination officially kicked off.
This year's college entrance examination, the number of people in Guangxi who signed up for the unified exam was nearly 405,000, an increase of 22,000 compared with last year, a record high, and the number of unified exams has increased for six consecutive years.
There are 262 test sites and 13,633 test rooms in the district, with a total of 39,000 test staff.
