Kumamoto Prefecture and Kumamoto City announced on the 6th that nine new people were found to be infected with the new coronavirus.
It is the first time in about two months since April 12 that the number of newly infected people per day will be in the single digits.
As a result, a total of 6349 people have been confirmed to be infected in Kumamoto Prefecture.
On the other hand, three men in their 60s and 90s in Kumamoto City and a woman in their 90s in Tamana City died, bringing the death toll in the prefecture to 108.
