Gifu Prefecture and Gifu City have announced that 22 new people have been confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus.
It is the first time in the prefecture that the number of announcements per day has fallen below 30 since April 30th.
A total of 8928 people have been confirmed to be infected in Gifu prefecture.
