During the past year, Zac Efron has spent most of his time in Australia, and more specifically in Byron Bay, a city beloved by surfers.

And while the rumor of a permanent installation has been running for some time, everything suggests that the actor has decided to take the plunge.

He decided to sell his property in Los Angeles and buy land on Australian soil.

The

star

has parted with a sumptuous villa with contemporary architecture overlooking the City of Angels from the upscale Los Feliz district for the modest sum of $ 5.3 million.

A price slightly below what he asked for, but well above the 4 million dollars he had spent to acquire it more than seven years ago.

Change of scenery

In parallel with the sale of his house, Zac Efron has therefore set his sights on 128 hectares of land near Glengarrie, a town in the Tweed Valley region located an hour's drive from Byron Bay.

The 33-year-old actor has shelled out $ 2 million for this wild piece of land where, according to Dirt, he plans to build a cozy nest.

Now separated from Vanessa Valladares, Zac Efron just has to imagine the home of his dreams to spend happy days away from the hustle and bustle of Hollywood.

And in the meantime, he can still camp there!
