went to look on the side of Joan Collins and more particularly the character of Alexis Carrington that she played in

A diva character that remained in viewers' memories for her propensity for stabbing in the back and which perfectly matched the way Emma Thompson imagined herself as Baroness.

“My fabulous makeup artist, Naomi Donne, took a lot of inspiration from this adorable Joan Collins who couldn't be nicer but who played real villains.

She enjoys a wonderful narcissism and, of course, Baroness does to the last degree.

But why is she so mean?

But the task had not been less difficult for Emma Stone who had to embody a character already well identified while giving it a new dimension.

“I thought it would be really exciting and interesting to reinvent a character that you feel you know, or at least on the surface.

It was fun digging deep to find out what pissed her off and what makes her so demonic, ”the star also in the interview said.
