On June 4, an ancient tomb was found in a construction site near the Longfeng Bridge in West Lake, Fushun County, Zigong City, Sichuan.
According to reports, several workers on the construction site suddenly dug a stone that morning while digging a foundation.
Everyone took a look at the soil and found that it looked like an ancient tomb.
The construction party immediately contacted the Fushun County Cultural Relics Bureau.
At the same time, the construction site was immediately suspended, all the scenes were surrounded, and special personnel were arranged to be on duty around the clock.
It is understood that at the construction site, I saw this ancient tomb located in a sloping ridge, which was buried in thick soil before being dug out.
A stone building resembling a tomb gate can already be seen on the scene, with the image of a suspected dragon and an unknown beast carved on it, which looks lifelike.
The stone carvings in the center and left of the tomb gate are intact, and the appearance of the stone carvings can be clearly seen.
According to the relevant person in charge of the Cultural Relics Bureau of Fushun County, experts from Zigong City and Fushun County and heads of relevant departments rushed to the scene that afternoon.
At present, the vicinity of the ancient tomb has been fenced and sealed, and relevant departments will start archaeological investigations as soon as possible.
