In addition to the tests to be provided, high school students will have to respect the series of health measures during the Bac.

Restrictions imposed by the Ministry of Education so that the baccalaureate exams which are held this year face-to-face take place under conditions compatible with the health crisis linked to Covid-19.

So that the competition takes place in the best conditions and does not become a giant cluster on a national scale, five major recommendations have been formulated by the government.

  • Contact or positive cases will pass the tests in September

The baccalaureate exams will not be face-to-face for everyone.

Candidates identified as contact or positive Covid-19 cases are not allowed to sit for the baccalaureate exams.

As this is a case of force majeure, the student will be invited to the replacement session in September.

For the philosophy test, he will be able to benefit from his continuous assessment mark or go to the September test.

On the other hand, the pupils whose class was closed shortly before the start of the tests "will be able to sit for an exam if they have not been formally identified as contacts at risk", specifies the Ministry of Education on its website .

If symptoms suggestive of Covid-19 appear in a candidate or a member of staff during an examination, the person will be immediately isolated, assures the ministry.

  • Mask compulsory for all

Wearing a surgical or general public mask with a filtration capacity of 90% is compulsory for everyone, outside the premises and in the examination rooms.

It must be worn throughout the tests, both written and oral.

Masks will be provided to the staff responsible for organizing the exams.

It will also be offered to candidates who arrive without.

  • No contact between candidates and examiners

Upon arrival, the pupil presents his identity document, keeping his distance from the staff.

He must sign the attendance sheet with “his own pen”.

If you forget, "pens previously cleaned with disinfectant wipes will be offered to the candidate," said the ministry.

  • Mandatory distancing

To limit the mixing between students, the direction of movement in the premises will be indicated by signage.

In the examination rooms, the tables will be placed at a distance of one meter from each other.

For the oral tests, the members of the jury will be distant from each other, as well as from the candidate.

They will be alone in the room.

"For some oral exams, it happened that the preparation for the following oral was in the same room at the back, this year it will not be the case, the preparers will be in one room, the oral is held in another room", detailed in early June at a press conference, Edouard Geffray, the director general of school education (Dgesco), number two of the ministry.

  • Aeration and hydroalcoholic gel are required

The premises of the examination centers will be cleaned with virucidal disinfectant before the arrival and after the departure of the candidates.

Frequently touched surfaces, such as doorknobs, will be cleaned throughout the day.

In addition, the examination rooms will be ventilated before, during and after the tests.

The pupils will also have to disinfect their hands with hydroalcoholic gel when they enter the room and before leaving it.
