The venue set up by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government to vaccinate police and firefighters was opened to the public on the 4th.

The venue for vaccination was set up by the capital on the site of the Tsukiji Market in Chuo-ku, Tokyo.

This is the base for transportation vehicles for the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics, and the space for actual inoculation was set up in a building where the drivers of vehicles carrying athletes rest during the Games.

There are a total of 15 booths for inoculation.

Those who have completed the vaccination will be followed up for side reactions in a large bus parked outside.

The inoculation here will start on the 8th of this month, and the target will be the staff of the Metropolitan Police Department and the Tokyo Fire Department, as well as fire brigade members and Judo rehabilitation teachers, and the inoculation will be performed by about 60 nurses and dentists a day.

According to the city, the goal is to inoculate 5,000 people a day, and during the period, up to about 110,000 people can be inoculated for the first time.

This place can only be used until the end of this month, before the preparations for the Tokyo tournament are in full swing, so from next month we will use a temporary prefab at Yoyogi Park in Shibuya Ward, Tokyo for the second inoculation. I am doing it.

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government has added 18.5 billion yen to the supplementary budget bill submitted to the Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly, which is currently being held, as a project to promote vaccination at large-scale venues.

The amount is based on the assumption that venues will be set up and operated in five locations in Tokyo.
