China News Service, Nanchang, June 4th (Reporter Wu Pengquan) At 12 o'clock on the 4th, Jiangxi Province ended its flood control level IV emergency response and entered a normal flood control state.

Since May of this year, Jiangxi has experienced multiple rounds of continuous heavy rains. The province’s rainfall is higher than the historical average over the same period. The water levels of rivers and lakes have risen rapidly, and dangerous situations have occurred in some places.

Facing the increasingly severe flood control and disaster relief situation, the Jiangxi Provincial Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters launched a flood control level IV emergency response at 20:00 on May 26.

In view of the fact that the current process of heavy rainfall has basically ended, according to the "Emergency Plan for Flood Control and Drought Relief in Jiangxi Province", Jiangxi Province has decided to end the flood control level IV emergency response at 12 o'clock on June 4th.

The Jiangxi Provincial Anti-Drought Guidance said that all parts of Jiangxi are requested to continue to strengthen on-duty, closely monitor changes in the weather, and continue to do a good job in flood prevention and drought relief.
