Pan Baoyu, a villager in Dazhai Village, told reporters that when he was young, he had gone out to work, and the pants that migrants wore were borrowed from the village.

"When I went to work in Beijing, I didn't even have pants, so I asked the old secretary in the village if there were any clothes and pants distributed to others, and could you lend me one. Then I can wear them when I go out to work." Pan Baoyu said.

Pan Baoyu, a migrant worker in Beijing, thought of his hometown when he visited the Great Wall. “If there are tourist attractions like the Great Wall in my hometown, it will definitely drive the local tourist market.” This thought that came up in his mind made him unable to calm down for a long time.

In 1999, Pan Baoyu started a farmhouse after returning home.

Pan Baoyu said: "In 1999, I stopped going out to work. I burned tiles and built a house at home and built a wooden building on the top of the mountain. At that time, all the decorations were done by myself." A group of guests who came to travel.

At that time, he received 350 yuan for the room, which was his income from home farming for half a year in previous years.

Pan Changtian, 70, is also a villager in Dazhai Village.

After quitting his job in 2018, Pan Changtian took a loan of 2 million yuan to open a farmhouse with his daughter.

He believes that the most important thing to make a good farmhouse is service.

Pan Changtian said: “For tourists who come to live, we provide the service of picking up and sending cars to the parking lot. Some tourists stay here for one night, and feel at ease that they will stay two or three more nights.”

When the reporter met Pan Hefu at a homestay in Dazhai Village, he was about to take guests to catch fish.

In 2015, Pan Hefu returned home after graduation to help his parents run a homestay. At the beginning, there were fewer guests. In recent years, with the development of terraced tourism and the improvement of homestay services, the number of guests has increased year by year.

Pan He attached introduction: "The cheapest room at the beginning was 29 yuan, because the wooden house in the past did not have a terrace, bathroom, air-conditioning, or TV. In 2015, our family began to try to make a homestay, from no toilet until now. Each room has its own terrace, bathroom, air-conditioning, TV, etc. The living facilities are complete. Along the way, I really feel that it has developed so fast."

In October of previous years, the Longji terraces were golden, and the villagers harvested mature ears of rice.

Pan Hefu stated that the peak tourist season for terraced fields is from July to October each year, and the house price also rises from a few hundred yuan to 1,000 yuan per night.

"In previous years, there were too many guests on National Day, and the room was in short supply. You have to book a month in advance to get a room. If it's later, you may have to set up a tent and spread the floor."

Villagers of Dazhai Village who were once surrounded by "poor mountains and bad waters" now rely on the unique geographical location of terraced fields to eat "tourism meals".

It is reported that in 2019, Dazhai Village received tourism dividends of 7.2 million yuan, and in 2020, it will receive tourism dividends of more than 5 million yuan.

Pan Baoyu told reporters that October is the season when rice ears mature. In order to allow tourists to see the most beautiful scenery of the terraced fields, villagers are now delaying the harvesting time of rice ears, turning the "Eleventh Golden Week" into a real "Eleventh Golden Week". month".
