Less than a month before the French regional elections, Éric Dupond-Moretti has taken up the torch of the fight against the National Rally.
But does the Minister of Justice have the right angle of attack?
How to fight the National Rally?
The question torments the macronie one year from the presidential election, while Marine Le Pen is racing ahead in the polls.

Eric Dupond-Moretti embarked on the regional campaign in the Hauts de France with the firm intention, he said, of "
driving the National Front from these lands
". A party that he considers "
dangerous and deadly for democracy
". But can this strategy of demonizing the national assembly be effective? Some doubt it. “

" set up by the parties to "

" the comments of the members of the RN have so far had little success. Moreover, within the National Gathering, we rejoice: "

Some close to the president are therefore somewhat disillusioned.
A weighty minister sighs: “
Marine Le Pen does not care about the facts.
His constituents are not looking for the truth.
They vote for it to destroy a system.

", recalls another member of the government, who suggests that the head of state finds this angle of attack.
High risk strategy
But Emmanuel Macron has, for the moment, chosen another method, that of Nicolas Sarkozy during the 2012 presidential election. A losing strategy then, but the Head of State thinks that it is the only valid one: to know how to fight the National Gathering by taking up these favorite themes: insecurity, justice, secularism ... and by trying to provide different solutions.
Do not leave to the RN the monopoly of these subjects.
Hence the rightfulness of the Head of State.
High risk strategy: it can have an advantage: marginalize its other opponents.
But one drawback: being beaten in the second round by the one who now dictates the political agenda.
