A 26-year-old man arrested for murdering a couple with a knife in a case where four family members were killed in a house in Sakai-cho, Ibaraki Prefecture, suffered serious and minor injuries such as stabbing two children with a knife. On the 29th, he was re-arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.

The person who was re-arrested was Yusei Okaba (26), an unemployed person living in Misato City, Saitama Prefecture.



In September, an office worker Mitsunori Kobayashi (48 at the time) and his wife Miwa (50 at the time), a part-time employee, were stabbed and killed in a house in Sakai Town, Ibaraki Prefecture. Police arrested Okanaiwa this month on suspicion of murdering a couple in a seriously injured case.



In a subsequent investigation, after Okaba killed Mr. and Mrs. Kobayashi, he stabbed the leg and arm of his eldest son, who was sleeping in another room, with a knife and injured him. On the 29th, he was re-arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and injury.



Police are investigating the story of the case in more detail.



Police have not disclosed their approval or disapproval because it interferes with the investigation, but according to investigators, they have denied allegations of murdering the couple in the investigation so far.
