Publicity
Twenty years ago, on May 28, 2001,
Francis Bebey passed away
, one of the great artists propagating African cultures in France and around the world.
Propagator, on the one hand through music, since he was a singer, musician, musicologist;
another by the words as a writer and journalist (he worked in particular for the ancestor of RFI), or by his action at the head of the music department of UNESCO.
20 years later, the Peewee Music label, directed by the founder of the Sextan studio
Vincent Mahey
, pays tribute to Francis Bebey, by reissuing his album “Dibiye” in a deluxe version.
