In the conditions of a covid pandemic, words that we either did not know before, or they were somewhere on the periphery of consciousness, entered our everyday life. Unfortunately, some of them are now directly applicable to the international political environment. Take, for example, the term "virulence", which denotes the degree of ability of an infectious strain to cause disease. Tracking the news feed, with the naked eye you see a terribly virulent, that is, extremely infectious and pathogenic, bacillus of Russophobia floating in the air, striking one foreign political figure after another.

As soon as some unpleasant incident occurs, the "Russian trace" is immediately sought out and, as a result, the question of additional sanctions against our country immediately comes up. A recent example is the unplanned landing of a Ryanair aircraft in Minsk. It would seem where they are and where we are, but there were hotheads who once again call for an urgent freeze of Nord Stream 2.

There are many dubious reasons for such statements and statements among the heap of events, but there is only one reason - fear of a possible strengthening of the power and influence of Russia in the international arena. Someone does this, guided by economic interests, someone - from political motives, and someone just needs to mark the territory and declare loyalty in the circle of potential allies. Like, I'm mine, we are together. What is together and for what - then we'll figure it out. In the meantime, here is my hand for you, let's be friends against these "abnormal" Russians.

This is approximately how the President of Poland Andrzej Duda, who is now in Georgia on a visit, behaved. “Russia's actions are aggressive, imperial, which rob people of a normal life, lead to the destruction of states, to martial law, and to the death of people. These are actions that the international community cannot take. Russia is not a normal country. This is not a state that behaves normally, ”he said.

As if it was not Georgia, but we started shelling South Ossetia in 2008 (which ended in the Five-Day War), as if these were not unknown destructive forces, but we unleashed a bloody massacre on the Maidan and carried out an anti-constitutional coup in Ukraine contrary to the agreement reached by four countries and, finally, as if it was not Poland, but again we fought illegally in Iraq for several years, being the allies of the Americans in this country from 2003 to 2008. “How many peaceful Iraqis have been killed has not been counted so far. Human rights organizations believe that hundreds of thousands. And how many of them were killed by Polish soldiers from a "normal" country? " - Maria Zakharova, an official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, wrote on her Facebook page yesterday.

Press Secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov called the rhetoric of Polish President Andrzej Duda unacceptable.

“Russia is a friendly country, strong, self-confident and completely independent.

And possessing these qualities, Russia is looking for friendly relations, mutually beneficial cooperation with all neighbors, including Poland, ”he said.

The Polish president is a relatively young man.

For me, for example, he practically suits as sons.

That is why, probably, he does not have the same vaccination against the Russophobia virus that many representatives of my generation have.

And older people.

In the late 80s of the last century, being the head of the youth editorial department of the Central Television, I entered the correspondence department of the Academy of Social Sciences under the Central Committee of the CPSU. Our group of listeners was one of the most close-knit - the chief editors of various publications from Grozny, Kiev, Rostov-on-Don, from other cities and regions, as well as a number of foreign comrades from friendly countries. One of them - a Pole named Peter - became my bosom friend. We made friends with families. He stayed with us, I went to see him in Katowice. Petya showed me all the nearby sights. We grilled kebabs in the courtyard of his dacha and sang, embracing, in chorus with our neighbors, mostly Russian and Soviet songs. Unfortunately, in the 90s we lost each other.

Already in the 10s of the XXI century, fate brought me together with Elena Semerikova - the daughter of the legendary intelligence officer Wanda Wrublewska, whose father was a Pole from Krakow. It so happened that he lived with a large family in the USSR, in Polish settlements in Bashkortostan. When the war broke out, Wanda was 17 years old. Together with other girls, she wrote a statement and ended up in an intelligence school near Moscow. She was a radio operator, then, as part of a special female reconnaissance group, she participated in the liberation of Warsaw, Krakow, Lublin, Majdanek. Since she knew Polish, she was entrusted with very important tasks. Saving Krakow, one of the most beautiful cities in Poland, from destruction - this is her merit as well. I know firsthand how the Poles honored Wanda Wrublewska, what honors they rendered her at the highest level until her death. And she lived to be almost 90 years old.

Such pages of our common history must be remembered, written about, passed on from generation to generation.

It is in these relations that the very magic vaccine is hidden, which can save the world from the most terrible and virulent disease - unconsciousness, causing attacks of indiscriminate vilification of the whole country.

In the meantime, the State Duma proposes to stop another recurrence of the Russophobia virus by adding Poland to the list of unfriendly countries.

And who makes it easier?
