May 29 is the 19th International Day of United Nations Peacekeepers.

The UN peacekeeping force is a special force that maintains regional peace and stability. In conflict areas, they do not belong to either side of the two sides.

On the battlefield full of gunpowder, they have no enemy, but there are enemies, and that is war.

Since 1990, the Chinese military and police have participated in nearly 30 United Nations peacekeeping operations and dispatched more than 50,000 peacekeepers.

In places ravaged by war, they not only guarded civilians, built infrastructure, cleared landmines, but also brought vegetable growing skills, martial arts, and lion dance to the local area.

A set of pictures takes you into the life of Chinese Blue Helmet in the smoke of gunpowder.
